Use of Alert management system

The NOOL Alert Management System (AMS) was developed to simplify administration in investigating and closing alerts what were generated in NSOL during verifying the packs of prescription medicines. Thanks to a user-friendly interface and a wide range of functionalities, it offers a unique solution of FMD issues in the Czech Republic. The AMS NOOL is available for the Marketing Authorization Holders (MAHs) since 02/2020 and for the end users since 08/2020.

 

End users – locations

The number of pharmacies using AMS increased per year (from week 10/2021 to week 10/2022) from 969 to 1 339 (i.e. an increase of more than 38%). However, it should be emphasized, that some chains or groups of pharmacies use one approach for all their business units, resp. solves alerts from one place/one location. The number of involved pharmacies is therefore much higher.

 

End users - organizations

The number of organizations using AMS increased per year (from week 10/2021 to week 10/2022) from 142 to 299 (i.e. more than 100% increase). The number has therefore doubled in the last year of running AMS. 

 

Marketing Authorization Holders (MAHs) with a contract

The number of MAHs using AMS is also rising. Now is the AMS used by:

87% of MAHs associated in The Czech Association of Pharmaceuticals ompanies (ČAFF)

85% of MAHs associated in Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry (AIFP)

46% of non-associated MAH

Share of medicinal products supplied by MAHs connected to the AMS: approx. 82%, share of all packages of medicinal products supplied by MAHs connected to the AMS is over 91%.
