CZMVS was temporarily unavailable

This morning we received reports of Czech Medicines Verification system being unavailable. The system could not be accessed and was unable to communicate with the HUB. The incident affected other national systems as well.

An issue has been identified with one of the Baracuda firewalls. This has been restarted and traffic has re-comenced flowing.

The issue has been fixed and currently all transactions are reporting as successful.

Please note that as per COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2016/161 in case of system unavailability medicinal packs can be dispensed and verified subsequently once the system is functioning.
